Beyond the Big Box Gym Cardio Class
Have you ever wanted to do kickboxing but don't want to either punch and kick the air in rhythm to catchy dance music, or participate in a dual to the death in the ring? 5 Elements Kickboxing class will allow you to hit the bags to get a great workout while concentrating on proper form and technique. It is not only about the attack, you will also learn defensive strategies and how to counter attack. We will teach you traditional muay thai and western kickboxing techniques for every situation and use practical striking combinations.
The classes consists of hitting heavy bags and/or practicing with a partner using focus mitts or kick pads (holding pads only, not striking the other person). The instructor my throw in some contact with the other person only to teach self defense techniques. Sparring is available after every Tuesday night class and is completely optional.
